Data Analyst

I am currently a senior pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (With Spec. in Big Data & Analytics) at SRM Institute Of Science and Technology, Chennai. I am highly interested in the applications of Data Science, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. A budding Data Scientist, I have been practicing for over 1.5 years in building industry/research relevant projects to enhance my skills in this field.

I was recently associated with Oloid AI, as a Machine Learning Intern. I worked on a computer vision based facial-recognition network with its use-case being in handling thousands of faces for an attendance based system. I incorporated Facial Recognition models like Facenet for training robust models and worked on coding and optimizing heavy neural networks using python on GPUs for training and testing phase.

I was also with Fornax HQ, as a Data Mining Intern and my main role was in data collection for the company. I collected and assembled data ranging in Biodiversity, Stock Trades, UN, Agricultural, Aviation, Diseases and more. I was also responsible in collecting, scraping and organizing data that was required using Web Scrapping through Python. I used tools like BeautifulSoup and certain web APIs that allowed me to extract data in different formats like CSV, Json and XML.

I have been part of the Data Science Community at SRM for over a year. I worked as a ML Developer for the community. I contributed by participating and working on numerous projects and research papers and hosting webinars.

I spend my free time listening to podcasts/music, reading novels, playing video games and cycling.
